22 letters set in a wheel, the wheel whirls back and forth. This is its mark: nothing in good beyond bliss, if for bad below blight
In this rushed age of digital distraction it is reassuring to hold a timeless physical prompt to creativity in one's hands. Many thanks to Steve Jobs for his inspiring voiceover!

More about the release
1 Notes

Sefer Yesira is one of the foundational texts of Jewish Kabbalah whose cryptic pronouncements encapsulate the twenty-two elemental Hebrew letters and ten enumerations whose combinations and permutations purport to constitute the bedrock of all worlds, experiences, and languages.

Sefer Yesira can be likened in effect to a Hebrew Oblique Strategies of Brian Eno fame, providing a powerful prompt for creativity. Sefer Yesira’s public appearance during the 10th century instigated an incredible variety of Jewish commentaries, the influence of which spread further afield during the Renaissance in Italy and has reverberated even unto our time. In this spirit, I have entitled my translation of Sefer Yesira as the Book of Creativity.

This is the free PDF of my book prototype that I will be sending to my publisher as a reference model for preparing the print edition to be published later in 2025.
