I am releasing my processed image of Earth for free as a gift to the Metalabel community. I had interviewed Apollo 15 astronaut Al Worden and we had gotten to work together on the freshly scanned NASA mission imagery from his mission. We had found this overlooked image of Earth taken by Apollo 15 Astronaut Jim Irwin on the way back home from the Moon in August 1971. Worden had planned to use my processed image of Earth as one of the media releases to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 15 mission. Sadly he passed away before that could happen.
